Some of the body language signs are:

• tail hanging down or resting on  backside. Tail may also be wagging.
• The dogs weight is distributed evenly across all 4 of their feet.
• Head is held high with ears in natural position.
• Mouth looks relaxed and sometimes just a little open. No noticeable tension in facial expressions.

Some things to keep in mind is the tail position will depend on the breed, some breeds the tail naturally curls over the back. They may also be in a sit or lying down.
