passive-submissive-dogBody posture (Passive Submission) is basically when the dog is cowering and saying don’t hurt me I am not a threat.

Some of the body language signs are:

  • Belly exposed
  • eyes averted
  • Tail Tucked between the back legs
  • dog laying on its back

Some things to keep in mind is that this is the most submissive of postures. Usually happens when a submissive dog meets a dominant dog. Dog will stay in this position until dominant dog moves away.
